About Crogen Estate

Crogen is an Estate with 2500 acres, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in North Wales. Situated at Llandrillo, it is approximately 6 miles from Corwen and 6 miles from Bala.

It is owned and managed by Henry and Sarah Robertson and is very much a family run business, with their young family helping when available. The wide and wonderful River Dee passes through these lands of outstanding natural beauty, which encompass woodland, grouse moors and in places, views of 360 degrees.  It has some of everything for guns to enjoy and allows for a great selection of stunning drives.

Hospitality is in the house, in the dining room. The house has a very interesting history and has been in the family since 1857.

Once you get there, you are in your own world, free from the stress of everyday living, with accommodation for up to 30 guns and guests in the wing, the coach house, and further cottages in other locations within the estate boundaries.

Well renowned for their comfortable, helpful and caring hospitality, Henry and Sarah are very experienced at hosting shooting parties and guests always leave wanting to return.

Overnight at Crogen Estate

You could also consider the possibility of including an overnight stay.

A great day of shooting could be followed by a wonderful evening with canapés, followed by a delicious 4-course dinner.

Alternatively, you may prefer to begin your Game On experience at Crogen the night before your shoot, giving everyone the chance to meet and relax before the day’s sport.

Drinks are served in the drawing room with dinner taking place in the dining room which has the capacity to seat up to 20 guests. You are invited to bring your own wines, champagnes and spirits, for which they charge no corkage.

In the morning, you will be offered a hearty full English breakfast.
